LocalPrint offers the convenience of printing directly from your Android device within your local network, eliminating the need for cloud services. Maintaining all data securely on your network ensures privacy and security.

• For technical compatibility reasons, LocalPrint may not be compatible with all printer models.
• To ensure correct functionality on Android versions over 4.4 (Kitkat), users are required to manually activate the print service post-installation. Simply launch the app, tap on the "Service settings" icon, and enable "zenofx.com LocalPrint."
• LocalPrint seamlessly integrates into the print menu on Android versions above 4.4 (Kitkat). For older Android versions, users can utilize the "Share" feature provided by various apps and select "LocalPrint." Additionally, LocalPrint includes its file browser.

Supported printers:

• Most modern printers capable of PDF printing, including office printers like HP and certain AirPrint laser printers.
• Printers supporting JPEG or PNG printing, such as home laser printers like the Samsung CLX series and higher-end InkJet printers from Epson or Canon.
• Printers shared by a Mac

Notably, budget InkJet printers are currently unsupported due to their proprietary, undocumented print format. These printers are indicated as unavailable in the printer menu. Users with such printers may consider exploring the cloud printing solution provided by "PrintBot" on Google Play.

• If LocalPrint does not appear in the Kitkat print menu after installation, users must manually activate the print service within the app settings under "zenofx.com LocalPrint."
• If your printer appears greyed out in LocalPrint's interface, it indicates that your printer is incompatible with the supported formats.

If you wish to remove watermarks from printed pages, simply access the LocalPrint app and select "Remove watermark" from the menu. Acquiring "LocalPrint Pro" eliminates watermarks with a one-time payment.

• To clarify why LocalPrint requests internet access permissions, it is essential for connecting to your printer locally within your network. Rest assured, LocalPrint does not access any external servers over the internet.
• Android may issue warnings regarding documents passing through servers due to its lack of understanding about how LocalPrint functions operationally.
